For the following positions Christ Community desires warm, loving, outgoing personable Christians who have a desire to serve God and others.

Greeters
Ministry Description: Individuals work at the church front or side doors to warmly greet new guests, and church members. As a greeter you will help new guests to the Hospitality Center and to provide directions to various locations such as the nursery, School of Christian Living classes, etc. This position also provides requested assistance to disabled individuals or others who need extra help, such as parents with small children, in addition to bulletin handouts.

Time Requirements: This position operates on a 6 to 8 week rotating schedule. The following is the time committment based on the individual service:

1st Service: 8:10-8:40 & 9:30-9:45 AM
2nd Service: 9:30-10 & 10:45-11 AM
3rd Service: 10:45-11:10 AM & 12-12:15 PM

Ushers
Ministry Description: Individuals are involved in a wide variety of responsibilites including: locking and unlocking the building, turning on the lights, checking heating and air conditioning, ensuring that the Family Life Center is ready for worship, taking worship attendance, collecting the offering, ensuring that unused rooms are locked, ensuring that the proper people are in the nursery and that children are in their designated classes, etc.

Time Requirements: This position operates on an approximate 4 week rotating schedule. The following is the time committment based on the individual service:

1st Service: 8:15-9:45 AM
2nd Service: 9:45-10:45 AM
3rd Service: 10:45 AM-12:45 PM

Hospitality Hosts
Ministry Description: Individuals who work at the Hospitality Center; welcomes guests, shares information about CCWC, maintains special event sign-up sheets.

Time Requirements: This position operates on a 6 to 8 week rotating schedule.

Communion Staff
Ministry Requirements: Members help prepare the elements (bread and juice) for the Lord's Supper. Element trays are prepared the day before communion service. Members are responsible for cleanup after 11 AM service, laundering of communion napkins and notifying church office when to purchase additional communion supplies.

Time Requirements: Approximately 60-90 minutes each month. Rotating schedule is dependent on the number of volunteers serving on this team.

Welcome Center
Ministry Requirements : Members are responsible for refreshments, such as making and serving coffee and doughnuts.

Time Requirements: This position requires approximately 90 minutes once every 6 to 8 week rotating schedule.
