Our Beliefs
The Bible
The Bible is unparalleled in its divine inspiration, and in its complete accuracy and authority as God’s revealed source of faith and Truth to us.
One God
One God, beside Whom there is no other, Whose nature and activity is supremely revealed to us through His expressions of Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit.
Human Nature
That human nature involves the image of God, in part, but also displays the universal tendency toward, and the practice of sin, which is basically rebellion (active or passive) against God.
Human Condition
That man’s ultimate and most urgent need is an awareness of his condition before God and a new life with him, through Christ.
Jesus Christ
That Jesus Christ is God’s unique revelation of Himself to us in human form, and His chosen pathway for our salvation, by virtue of his birth, life, death, resurrection, and present intercession for us.
Salvation
That the Way to Salvation is through confession and forgiveness of sins and personal acceptance by faith of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord.
Spiritual Maturity
That our lives should seek to “…attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God to maturity, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ…” (Ephesians 4:13, New Testament)
Our Vision
To REACH, CONNECT, GROW, and SHARE.
1
REACH those who are outside the church – to see lives changed and lost people saved
2
CONNECT to the community within the church – to do life together
3
GROW in our personal knowledge and relationship with God – taking spiritual next steps
4
SHARE our time, talents, and treasure – to glorify God, love others, and expand the Kingdom
Our Core Values
As an organization, we are choosing to hold these values as central in the pursuit of our mission and vision.
Biblical Authority – The Bible is the Word of God, and the final authority for our lives.
Authentic Community – Accountability, belonging, care, and spiritual growth happen best when we are connected in REAL relationships. (Regular, Essential, Authentic, Loving)
Strategic Service – We use our gifts to serve and love others, both inside and outside the church, to support the ministries of CCWC and to make a difference in our community.
Relational Evangelism – God’s message of hope, love, forgiveness, and salvation through Christ is most effectively shared with others within the context of personal relationships.
Bold Prayer – We believe in the power of prayer. Following Jesus’ example, we frequently and faithfully pray for one another, for our church, our community, and our mission.
Radical Generosity – Out of our love for God and others, we give selflessly and generously to others out of what God has blessed us with.
Multi-Generational Ministry – Generations invest in each other to become spiritually strong, healthy, and Christ-centered individuals and families.
